From Jan Blizzard
HISTORIC REGRADINGS EFFECTIVE 1ST JULY, 2014.
I have finally completed what we, the MNSW Historic Road Race Sports Committee, started out to do 2 years ago. Got around to doing a complete list of historic road race competitors so that we could convert the Division 1 and 2 riders to the normal grading system of A, B, C, and D grades as we agreed to do in minutes back in 2012.
This was suggested then for several reasons- one because of the number of competitors who have machines both historic and modern. The other was originally introduced a very long time ago when there were so many C graders they were divided into two divisions.
The list is comprised of riders who have competed since 1st January, 2009 up until the present.
Also some very overdue regradings have been done that were overlooked in 2013.

Round 4 July 19th 2014
Entries now closed
From this round onwards, timing team will take race licences instead of $50 deposit for transponders. Please take your race licence with you to the tower when signing on as usual and then hand it over to Timing Team when collecting your transponders, this will save a lot of time and get you out on the track quicker. If you have a One Event Licence you will be required to pay a deposit as normal.
Garages are included as part of the entry fee and allocated by race secretary, please nominate on your entry form who you want to share with.
2014 Championship Standings after Round 3
Please check your results and report any errors or omissions to firstname.lastname@example.org
IMPORTANT - MOMS changes for 2014
There are changes to MOMS which are under review by our eligibility team. The main changes affect Period 6. We will allow machines to run at Round 1 according to 2013 rules, changes must be implemented immediately after Round 1 and will be enforced at BSFOS and Round 2 of PCRA Club Championship onwards. Please ensure your machines comply.
Period 6 and Premodern machines MUST run a catch tray, this applies to all machines irrespective of whether they run fairings or not.

To all Riders
When completing your race entries, please ensure you enter your bike in the CORRECT class and race. Do not assume Jan will sort it out. If you don't know which class you bike is in, contact someone on the committee. This is especially important for P6 / Pre Modern riders and Buckets.
Also note, you can not cross enter a P6 bike into Pre Modern. By mistake we allowed that at round 1 but this will not be allowed in future, and the round 1 PM results will be changed to remove the P6 bikes from the points.
Cross entering is only allowed within the same 'period' by moving up a capacity class.
P6 now is an MA recognised historic class and at the PCRA we don't mix historic classes with modern classes. The PCRA will now be looking to develop the Pre Modern class in its own right which won't happen if it is full of P6 bikes.
Note that Non-Championship events like Barry Sheene Festival of Speed are not subject to this ruling.
